Mobile Processor Markets Gear Up for Recovery, Optimistic Outlook for the Latter Half of 2023: MIC
October 05, 2023

The first half of 2023 witnessed continued inventory adjustments in the mobile and processor market. Major players in the industry have made active inventory clearance their top priority. Despite facing headwinds in the first half of the year, both mobile brands and chip manufacturers are optimistic about market revival in the latter half of the year, according to MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute).

In response to this, various brands are preparing to unveil new mobile devices in the latter half of the year. Furthermore, chip manufacturers have laid out plans to introduce innovative mobile processor products. Two industry leaders, Qualcomm and MediaTek, have both scheduled the release of their latest flagship mobile processors for the fourth quarter of this year (expected in October). This includes the Qualcomm SD 8 Gen 3 and MediaTek Dimensity 9300. Both processors incorporate Arm's cutting-edge TCS23 solution, promising upgrades in computational performance and energy efficiency.
